Bryce + Ellen

This one was special. A very close family friend, her wedding day, and the challenge of capturing it while also being part of it. Shooting casually while celebrating alongside everyone else isn’t easy, but it was a real privilege. The brief was simple: “Capture the day, and have fun.” So that’s what I did. I don’t usually film weddings, but I’ll take them on when there’s no strict structure or expected outcome. I prefer to document moments as they happen, shoot instinctively, and then build something honest from whatever the day gives me. It’s probably not the traditional way to approach a wedding film or even the “correct” way but weddings aren’t really about perfection anyway. They’re messy, emotional, and unpredictable, and I think that’s exactly how they should be captured.
